Robert James is a lifetime native of beautiful Traverse City. Fresh out of high school he studied emergency medical through North Flight EMS and proceeded on to the paramedic level where life in the ambulance and ER was another unique day in his life. Moving forward in the years, Robert took a break from the medical field where he ventured on and traveled the country to provide directional drilling services in the energy industry. With such a deep rooted love and appreciation for the water and small town life while raising two children, the decision to be home full time where he loves most, was an easy decision.

With a deep passion to do something great for his local city, Robert saw the need for a cleaner and safer community. That is when Germ General was founded and his entrepreneurial journey began. Over the past several years Robert has acquired many certifications and worked diligently to help clean up the community and help bring safer, cleaner environments too many around Northern Michigan.
DISENFECTING TRAVERSE CITY
With the disinfection division, Robert played a pinnacle roll in combatting against the Covid-19 pandemic. Using sophisticated equipment, implementing safe work practices and using top of the line disinfecting solutions, Robert was able to keep both residential and commercial establishments eradicated on a regular basis and keep germ levels at a very minimum. To this day, he proudly serves several clients for disinfection services. Robert’s greatest mission is to be in the forefront of community safety and cleanliness and eventually have his home town and surrounding areas recognized as the most attractive and cleanest city’s on the map.
THE GOOD THINGS IN LIFE
In the free time Robert loves the outdoors and enjoying every bit of life with his two children. He is grateful for the opportunities to build relationships with multiple clients and serve in his community. Robert makes sure that all current and new customers are welcomed in a way that has become customary in Traverse City and beyond.
